Listening to the Space Between
Breathing deep and slow
Like I have all the time and oxygen in the world
I close my eyes and rest in-ward
The gap between
Who’s right and who’s wrong
The third way opens
But too often I rush past it
Yet if I take a breath
In that gap, between what’s happening and
What I decide is happening
The gap opens to
10,000,000 other possibilities
Of joy of redemption
Of flowing FORward…
To a space of pain — undone
Of loss — transmuted
Of the illusion of separation — melted
Into the oneness that is not matter,
Not physical, not binary at all at all
It is in the space between
That every cell, every atom, every molecule
Of my sweet body
And every other thing I can think of
Subatomic to galactic
All resting,
floating,
swirling within
That space between.
Consciousness.
